Being Your Brand
DESCRIPTION
Being your brand
A look at how to represent yourself and your business at networking events and other meetings.
Whether you’re a business owner or work within a larger organisation, you are always representing that business and the brand. It’s therefore important that the way you come across represents your business in a positive way so that prospective clients and customers will be drawn to you and will want to do business with you.
Part of this is how you come across personally, e.g. your image, your approach and your ability to interact with others. A second part is about your presentation skills and being able to address a group in such a way that you position yourself as an expert in your field. The third part is about the inner you, your general wellbeing and inner confidence.
During this session, Rachel will share some of her own expertise on how you can apply all of that within a networking situation so that you represent yourself with clarity, confidence and composure.
In the first part of her session she will cover the nuts and bolts of networking and how to get the best out of it, and then move on to giving you tips on how to write and deliver your Networking Minute, which is always a common cause of anxiety but doesn’t need to be if you know how to do it effectively.
About Rachel:
Rachel set up The Athena Network. The UK’s leading networking organisation for women in business, in the N E Hants region in 2010. She ran 4 groups in Haslemere, Alton and Petersfield until February 2018 when she sold that business to focus solely on her training, coaching and speaking business.
She works primarily with women in business and helps them represent themselves and their business with clarity, confidence and composure. She does that through her workshops and talks and through individual coaching.
