Solent LEP Masterclass -Engineering Success
Driving Growth and Productivity through Innovation
The Solent LEP is holding a series of advisory Masterclasses throughout the year, each focussing on challenges faced by businesses which may affect their ability to grow.
On July 2nd, we are hosting a Masterclass in partnership with the University of Portsmouth focussing on the support available to innovative companies to help them to realise their growth ambitions. We are inviting representatives from specialist support providers to speak on this topic, as well as Solent-based innovative businesses who have experienced barriers and overcome them by utilising available support.
Within the Solent and across the globe, we rely upon innovative engineers and manufacturers to find creative solutions to the challenges we face. Challenges in health, humanitarianism and the environment all require innovate thinking, and often support from public and private sector providers to facilitate the development of innovative concepts. We see world-leading innovation in action across our region in various sectors, notably marine and maritime, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, digital technologies, life sciences and many more. In order to ensure that our innovative businesses can accelerate the development and commercialisation of important and often market disrupting products and processes, we need to make support business growth support as accessible as possible.
